Studio dog Libs checks another mix

ffg is becoming THE place for bands to record. No-one has money to burn these days, and many bands tell us that they save loads by recording at ffg, because we KNOW what we're doing, and we get results really fast.

Some artists use ffg to record a whole album, others come in for a day to produce a killer demo. Whatever you want to do, we will help you get the result you're looking for.

Here are a few do's and don'ts:

DO work out which are your strongest songs - be ruthless, dump that one with the ten-minute drum solo

DO get new guitar strings, new drum heads, get that dodgy lead replaced

DON'T try to do more than three songs in one day, better still 4 songs in two days.

DO put in plenty of practice time. Practicing in the studio is a waste of time and money.

DO be prepared to allow the songs to develop in the studio - "we can't play that live" is a bit lame
